A slightly different tale

By now I've posted so much of things related to my feelings that people in nopkin must be thinking of me as a schmaltzy woman with no sense of realities of the world but today I want to share a story that is simple and true to the core yet complex and maybe hard to accept for some, whatever, I've promised the person who told me this story of her life that I'll put it here not to exhibit her drama of life but because it is rare that such stories happens in reality.

What are the pre-requisites for falling in love? Let me see, maybe the first requisite would be you should be without any strings attached, I mean one must be single; the second important thing would be the duo should see each other to fall in love; and the most important thing could be one should be able to connect with the heart of the other person. Enough of the inventory of these pre-requisites, if these requisites were seriously taken into consideration my friend's story would end right here. But it doesn't stop here, actually it starts from here, happily married to the person whom she felt would be the right man to protect her from all adversities in life she never knew life had this story in reserve for her. She met the other man while she was engrossed in the virtual world of internet. The connection began with a timid exchange of pleasantries that lead to the thirst of seeing more of the other because the more they learnt about each other the more they felt that they were sent to the earth as a package but somewhere in the delivery of the cargo somebody seemed to have misplaced their lives. They would spent fervent waking hours in each other's company yet it amazes me that they never knew what the other looked like. When I asked my friend how she could fall in love with a face her eyes had never seen before, she gave me a look that bored a hole right in me and I understood that this was a love felt from the heart for a heart that sung the same rhythm not the love that begins from the eyes only to last till the eyes remains in view. Months passed, their love deepening with every song they shared, every emotions they sought in the messages mailed to each other. In between our conversation, I heard her hum the songs he had sent to her; I knew the lyrics and felt love that was sent to her all across the oceans that kept them apart. She told me how he had taken her to the most exquisite place through his verbal world just to propose to her. If there be such place on earth as described by her love to my friend I know that place would be an instant hit among the lovers.

On the home front, nights were the devils that clutched her heart with the claws of remorse. Lying down beside the person whom she had made the vow to remain committed in all thick and thin of life's journey, blankly she would spent many sleepless nights counting the beams in the ceiling, sometimes wishing the beams to fall on her and kill her for being so irresponsible. Yet, reading his mails impregnated with emotions that filled her heart with feelings she had always craved for buried the remorse.

To cut a long story short, she knows the love she feels for this faceless stranger is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in her life yet she knows that her husband is the only person who can give her a protective home she desires. Given the choice, she would prefer to remain faithfully married to her husband yet she cannot ignore the heavenly feeling of love she knows she feels for him only. Now, didn't I say this is a simple and true story but at the same time complex and hard to accept fact. Well, I can only say that love happens in the most unlikely places in the most unlikely times, even I am perplexed with the complexity of this tale.

Hey Friendlyuser,
the story looks quite similar to Tom Hanks' " U have got mail" bt if it's a true story, better tell ur friend to get away from the faceless stranger before she jeopardize her life and hurt the man who have provided her a secured life.  Who knows the faceless stranger might turn out be a cold blooded murderer........

I think u need to tell your friend that she should avoid chatting  with this faceless guy soon to save her marriage .I have seen and heard many marriages  are broken by mobile, internet, party , playing cards etc.gud luck

Some wise man said "do not condemn the judgment of others just because it differ from yours. You could both be wrong". Nonetheless, I totally agree with Bella and looser. Trusting a stranger is swimming towards the shark but when put in her shoes, it looks like a very tough stance she has taken by choosing to live a jaded life. It is a sad fact that she is giving up the slice of heaven sent to her. A beautiful love story....it left me with a heavy heart. :)
